Asthma Awareness Meeting
is a two-day meeting with
lectures, interactive sessions and workshops. It aims to promote
Asthma Awareness for health care workers dealing with asthma, update
their knowledge of current treatment and guidelines, and inform them
of the Saudi Arabian National
Asthma Protocol.
Target Audience:
This meeting is conducted annually and designated for
physicians working in Internal
Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, and Emergency Medicine. It
is also designated for Pharmacist, Respiratory Therapist, Nurses,
and Health Educators.

14 CME hours from the Saudi Council for Health Specialties.

Once again, we are gathered
for the Asthma Awareness meeting for the
sixth time. This meeting has slowly and surely rose to gain the
distinction of being one of being one of the major awareness
activities in the Kingdom.
The meeting has a clear mission to increase awareness amongst
Healthcare
workers and providers who have unselfishly indebted themselves in
taking care of Asthma Patients. As it needs a multi-disciplinary
approach, different disciplines are involved in the realization of
this important event, which reflects the genuine partnership amongst
us.
Another important goal is to integrate the newly released Global
Initiative for Asthma (GINA) update in the Scientific Program in
order to standardize the methods of Asthma Management.
We are proud to unfold the durable sixth leaf of the Asthma
Awareness Event’s indefinite years of success and we are confident
that it has gained the unquestionable reputation of being one of the
major activities related to Asthma
in the Kingdom.
I will take this opportunity to thank my colleagues
for the outstanding scientific program, the members of Postgraduate
